Bulgur, millet, lentils, quinoa, amaranth, pearl barley or chickpeas are exciting, cheap and healthy ingredients and are delicious in every nutritional style. Time to rediscover the whole thing for yourself! For example, the "Cooking Artist 2017". Müller's Mühle organizes the cooking competition for two-person teams around the topic of legumes, cereals and pseudo-grain. And if you like to cook with your * m partner * in, Freud * or another favorite person, have a delicious recipe in your hands and compete against other teams, this is your chance. In six cooking schools, the candidates compete against each other in Germany. Professional chefs coach and accompany you to bring your court a decisive tick forward. As the winner of your preliminary round you travel to Berlin and cook there in the Olympic Stadium for the win and great prizes. That sounds good?

The cooking school Neumünster is e.g. one of the six venues for the semifinals. I looked around there, talked to the sympathetic cook and juror Bettina Seitz, met the runaway chicken Blondie, found a lot of "pink", talked into the pots and ... just look for yourself. Here comes my mini-reportage:

In a nutshell: This is how you go along with Müller's Mühle Kochkünstler 2017

  1. Give your recipe with legumes, cereals or pseudo-cereals from Müller's Mill at this link. Vegan, vegetarian, sweet, vegetables, meat, fish - everything works. Closing date is August 15th.
  2. When your recipe is selected, cook in one of six cooking schools along with (d) a favorite person the recipe against other teams. You have 1 hour for this. Professional chefs will assist you and coach you to the best result.
  3. As the winner of the preliminary round, you will then travel to Berlin and cook the court in the Olympic Stadium. Not only the title "Kochkünstler 2017" is waiting for you, but of course great prizes such. A gourmet weekend for two in Schloss Fleesensee or chic porcelain of the series "O - The better Place" by KAHLA.

Tips: The tabbouleh salad can be served right away. However, it tastes a bit better if the flavors are allowed to run through for 1 hour. Overnight, he keeps himself covered in the fridge - then return to room temperature before serving.
